Position: UX/UI Designer Location: 100% remote (Client in New York, NY) Duration: Long term As a UX Researcher/Strategist, youll be responsible for driving and executing research to influence the design of ETSs products and empower our product owners with the insights they need to make well-informed decisions. You will work closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, developers, business analysts, and marketing to understand the needs of users by planning and employing a variety of methods, including generative (foundational) and evaluative studies, primary and secondary research, and quantitative and qualitative analysis. Own the end-to-end research process - design, plan, conduct research, and analyze results Collaborate with product teams to develop a UX strategy based on their situation and needs, identify appropriate research questions, and advise the team on the best method(s) to answer those questions Create research plans that are methodologically rigorous and comply with Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines Identify and recruit applicable participants in coordination with product owners Facilitate generative research, such as design thinking and ideation exercises, product/market fit, and product/solution fit analysis Conduct evaluative research, such as heuristics evaluations, A/B testing, usability testing Perform data analysis to determine key findings and translate findings into insights and impactful product-related and strategic recommendations Communicate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and presentations Mentor and coach junior UX researchers on the team Socialize user-centered design methodologies across different audiences at ETS Design low-fidelity wireframes or basic prototypes Keywords: user interface user experience |
