Role :Vulnerability Remediation Analyst Location: 10801 6th St STE 120, Rancho Cucamonga, CA - 91730 (5 Days onsite role, no remote) Duration: Contract/Full time Client:Mphasis End Client: IEHP (Inland Empire Health Plan) Job Description: Looking for VA remediation candidates with minimum of total 8+ years of experience in conducting vulnerability assessment and remediation against windows as part of a team. Should be able to serve as a trusted advisor in helping customers with relevant decisions based on the findings of the reports and dashboards. Technical Skills: Must have 6-8+ years of experience in VA remediation Candidate should had worked in infrastructure remediation work. Doing due diligence of vulnerability Prepare high level project schedule Prioritize and categorize remediation task Co-ordinate with stake holders to prepare remediation schedule Prepare low level project schedule Monitor and validate remediation success Raise exceptions if required Progress reporting False positive validation Monitor and validate remediation success Raise exceptions if required Presenting reports to client and taking signoffs ITIL Foundation Certified is desirable. At least 8+ years of experience in an IT role, ideally within a professional services environment Experience working with MS Servers and Vulnerability management. Should be able to remediate the findings which come up in scanning using scanning tools Coordinate with apps team further to mitigate as well as closure on the same Self-starter personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) and experience in working in multi-cultural environment. Customer centric approach, and comfortable picking up the phone to talk with end users. Worked in Windows servers trouble shooting and vulnerability management. Experience working in ITSM tool like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy Should be flexible to work in US time zone on site in customer location Persistence to ensure deliverables are completed successfully An ability to clearly communicate to both business and IT audiences Windows 2012 through 2019 Security Knowledge/ Experience Windows 7,10,11 Security Knowledge/ Experience Good Written & Verbal Communication Skills Presentation Skills Roles and Responsibilities Provide vulnerability remediation support To perform detailed analysis and troubleshooting of VA report received and identifying vulnerabilities from tools (Qualys/ Tenable) (if present) and coordinate with end users, application owners, value steam owners either via tickets or by phone/Teams to remediate vulnerabilities. Interact and closely work with Information Security teams. Investigative with a curious mindset Coordinate with 3rd line support team, Architects, suppliers, etc. To be able to follow and report status to stake holders and management Ability to recommend and implement Windows Hardening on workstations and servers. Own the Windows Patching either internal SCCM or WSUS for Business. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university and 4+ Years of relevant work experience AZ 500 and MS 500 Certification will be added advantage.
