Project: More than 1000 Vizient member hospitalsparticipate in CDB(Vizient Clinical Database) product to improve quality, costand resource utilization to improve patient care. CDB provides transparent benchmarking in multiple domains along with industry leading riskmodeling around various outcome metrics to Vizient members. CDB data intakeprocess is hosted in Hadoop framework. Various ETL and intake pipelinesare developed in Ni-Fi, PySPark, SparkR, Informatica and other datatechnologies for hospital data ingestion, curation , standardization, andenrichment processes. All CDB products are already moved to Azurecloud and data intake pipelines are being migrated to Azure in parallel. For a data engineer in CDB team, expertise on PySPark, ETL and SQL will beneeded.
