Local only Rate: $50/hr max Job Description As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for expanding and optimizing data and pipeline architectures, and for optimizing data collection and flow across functional teams. Your responsibilities include assisting other developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists with data initiatives and ensuring a consistent data delivery architecture is put in place throughout ongoing projects. Roles and Responsibilities 6+ years industry experiences building and supporting large-scale cloud systems leveraging azure. Assure that data is cleansed, mapped, transformed, and otherwise optimized for storage and use according to business and technical requirements A working understanding of Data Warehousing concepts of Dimensional modelling and OLAP design. Develop and maintain innovative Azure solutions Solution design using Microsoft Azure services and other tools The ability to automate tasks and deploy production standard code (with unit testing, DevOps integration) Load transformed data into storage and reporting structures in destinations including data warehouse Build data pipelines to collectively bring together data Strong expertise in version control systems. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills. Requirements and Skills Expert level understanding on Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Azure logic App is required.
