(Relocation Is Not Permitted) 75% Backend and 25% Front End Sr. Java AWS Developer The manager is seeking a senior resource for a heads down developer position who writes code on a day to day basis and that is all they want to do. You will need to be a problem solver as they have some code written and functioning currently but even that code will have to be tweaked and modified. You will also be responsible for writing new code from scratch as well. It is critical to have strong and extensive experience in AWS and it's respective tools as well as Java as the platform to get to AWS. This project is currently the largest program within the organization with more than 200 individuals assigned and it is still actively growing. The goal is to replace the legacy platform and take the program to the cloud and replacing the mainframe for 800K clients and they are teaming up with AWS to make this shift successful. The top skills that you will need to succeed in this role are below: At Least 5-8 Years of Experience: Strong Backend Java Experience (Java 8+) Very strong AWS Experience API and API Gateway experience Experience in Oracle DB Knowledge on JSON/XML Knowledge on Stencil.js is preferred but any other alternative will be fine.
