This role is perfect for developers excited by and up for the challenge of building scalable, cloud-native services.Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable Go microservices. Migrate existing services from Java to Go. Solve complex problems in distributed systems with high reliability and low latency. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners and QA. Contribute to and review code through rigorous peer review processes. Participate in daily standups, planning, and retrospectives. Write clean, testable, and efficient code in a TDD environment. Work on connected vehicle and telematics platforms.Required Skills & Experience: 35+ years of hands-on Golang development. 3+ years of experience in Java. Experience with protobufs and gRPC. Deep understanding of Go routines, channel patterns, and concurrency control. Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and Test Driven Development. Working knowledge of MongoDB or similar NoSQL DBs. Experience with Kafka for high-volume messaging. Proficiency with AWS services: SQS, SNS, Secrets Manager, Lambda. Skilled with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration. Familiar with tools like Git, VS Code, JIRA, Confluence, and Datadog for monitoring/debugging. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
