| From: satin, Cohesive Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position : Senior Firmware Design Engineer Location : Andover, MA We are looking for a Control Firmware Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded power control firmware development with expertise in Control Engineering and Power Electronics, for the application of Online UPS and Li-ion based Storage solutions. What will you do Architecting embedded control strategy, formulating specifications and implementation control firmware for PFC, Chargers, DC/DC and inverter etc. Board bring up experience will be needed, as you use device driver development for CAN, I2C, SPI etc.. Proves design concepts through a combination of computer simulation and physical laboratory implementation/testing. What qualifications will make you successful 5+ years proven experience developing Power Electronics products Knowledge and Skills (PFC, Chargers, DC/DC and inverter etc..) BA Degree in a related field Programming experience in Assembly/C/C++ for 32 bit controllers/DSPs Programming experience in RTOS environments like UC OS-II or other platforms (Preferable) Experience in developing control systems for Power inverters/Converters. Proficient in understanding the schematics and debugging hardware issues Experience in industrial field bus communication protocols like MODBUS / CAN and protocols like USB, TCP/IP and embedded webservers.
