Role: Lead Mainframe Architect Location: Auburn Hills - MI || Onsite, Hybrid Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ Years JD: Job summary: Plan, develop, execute & manage activities related to end-to-end delivery management, including solution review, estimates validation, project planning and execution - from scoping & requirement validation through application development, delivery & integration support. Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables and highlight any risks, dependencies or issues impacting the successful delivery of the project. Apply knowledge of front-end frameworks, methodologies, processes and tools related to Mainframe to support a client solution. Experience: 8 to 12 years Required Skills: COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, IBM utilities, VSAM, Fileaid, Endeavor Good communication skills. Needs to work with the client team. Good team handling skills. Nice to have skills: AFS Level III Shift Day: 9 AM to 6 PM EST Roles & Responsibilities: Design, build, test, and deliver mainframe changes and enhancements for the company's end users and customers, based on requirements gathered from business analysts and end users. This includes code changes and compilation, application builds, and unit testing. Communicates to business and technical partners on incidents as they occur when they impact system performance or availability. Consult with business & IT partners on the evaluation of software especially as it relates to support considerations Periodically review and update the DR scripts to keep them updated.
