Location: If they are out of state it can be done remotely. Onsite, Tucson (Arizona) MUST have mortgage experience Open to relocation (must be serious, and able to relocate within the next month) Interview process for the Manager 3-4 rounds, some onsite and some remotely. Job description attached. The Engineering & Data Manager role is responsible for building, leading, managing, and coaching high performing engineering, and data teams. The successful incumbent will collaborate with and influence leaders to shape technical vision, technology platforms, and corresponding roadmaps. Minimum Qualificators: High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's Degree in software engineering or computer science. Or a combination of education and related work experience. Minimum of five years of experience that includes Data Engineering, Software, or related field. Minimum of four years progressive management/supervisory experience. Three (3) years in the mortgage industry is required. Examples of Duties: Directs, oversees, and utilizes functional authority for operation, planning, organization, and control. Integrate on, and complete all product or process-related activities of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Directs engineering and data department in formulating designs, cost estimates, and specifications through application of professionally accepted engineering techniques, practices. and procedures. Ensures that engineering and data work conforms to high technical and organizational standards and meets or exceeds all requirements. Responsible for preparation and control of department budget. Oversees compilation of cost control and state's calendar data. Oversee computing of engineering operating budgets, compiling reports, and conducting special Investigate gaons and studies to evaluate efficiency of engineering programs. Prepares interim and completes project reports. Develop strategies for data storage and long-term data preservation. Maintains specifications, rules, and constraints of incoming and outgoing data processes. Ensures data quality standards are met by staff. Perform other dues as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Leadership and influencing skills, strong ability to partner and work in a collaborative team environment. Strong client service orientation, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent organizational skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Intermediate knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Power Platform. Ability to analyze data from operational, financial, and technical systems. Experience developing and delivering data-driven interfaces, calculated metrics, and complex reports. and other business intelligence and decision support artifacts. Project management, especially for projects crossing organizational boundaries and disciplines. Outstanding presentation skills. Experience mentoring and coaching colleagues in technical and nontechnical disciplines. Experience with both Microsoft SQL Server and advanced SQL programming. Technically fluent in programming languages, including SQL, ASP.NET, MVC, VB, C#. Extensive database and operating systems experience with MS SQL, Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP, MS Server 2012, 2008, 2003. Solid working knowledge of current technologies, including TFS, VS 2013, 2015, ASP.NET MVC. Web Services. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position supervises a team. Responsible for interviews, hiring, and conducting performance evaluations. Ability to determine pay increases and terminate employment as approved by upper management. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: The working conditions are inside an office and not usually exposed to the elements. The noise level is low to moderate. This position is regularly required to sit and work in front of a computer.
