From: Suzanne Rogers, Concord IT Systems suzanne.rogers@concorditsystems.com Reply to: suzanne.rogers@concorditsystems.com Role: Principal Cloud Engineer (With Fidelity Background) Location: TX-Westlake [Onsite] Duration: 6+ Months Responsibilities: Build AWS pipelines, cloud governance, IAM role management, CFT build, Jenkins pipeline, EKS build, Cluster management, Container rehydration, connectivity, monitoring & alerting Systems Administration tasks on multiple platforms (Windows & UNIX) Middleware support with WebLogic, and Tomcat Scripting automation solutions for both UNIX and Windows (Unix , Windows Power, CHEF (Ruby), Python) . Design and implementation of new products and being a dedicated SME for servers and productions 24x7 Production Support, participation in on-call rotation Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several CTG initiatives Hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Cluster Management. Hands-on working knowledge around standard AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPCs, Load balancing, Networking, and Monitoring the Health of these services using tools/processes. Hands-on experience in deploying AWS Cloud Formation scripts, Terraform, and SSL Certificates. Good understanding of Cloud Security in AWS, specifically IAM Roles & policies, Security Groups, and Encryption keys Has knowledge of Cloud Account Management, Security Policies, and Governance. Experience is a plus. Experience with Docker or another container engine. You think and act like a developer in your past role: Automation, Continuous Refactoring, Security, etc. Proficiency with CI/CD tools and implementing pipelines Interest in building systems using modern, scalable, resilient, cloud-native architectures (Containers, Serverless, etc.). Strong commitment to quality, documentation, and engineering excellence. Proficient interpersonal skills with an ability to reach both technical and non-technical partners. You make complex things simpler, not the other way around. Experience with any programming language. Knowledge of secure SDLC, particularly in a cloud environment. Your experience as a developer and as a Cloud systems reliability engineer with extensive knowledge of Cloud tools and technologies You enjoy finding opportunities to innovate and take thoughtful risks in order to get things done better and faster. You are capable and effective in cross-team collaboration like Enterprise teams, Architecture, and Product Teams. You have strong, proven technical skills, with a track record of successfully building complex systems. You are capable of finding and implementing creative solutions to complex problems. You are passionate about educating developers about Cloud and DevOps. You are effective in an agile environment and deliver value incrementally, particularly when prioritizing against external dependencies.
