The role of QA4 requires extensive experience in software development, testingand project management, and demonstrates leadership for each phase end review.The QA4 takes a lead role in the planning, scheduling, execution, anddocumenting the review findings. They are responsible for communicating with the development team and thebusiness stakeholders regarding the progress of the quality approach and asummary of the metrics, and may manage other Quality Assurance Specialists. Responsibilities: 1. Review the projects required work products to ensure compliance with approvedtailored procedures and standards. 2. Review and check the projects software development activities and theassociated internal tasks required as employed by the project and specified inthe project plan. 3. Perform detailed reviews of interim and final tasks as appropriate. 4. Perform or manage the required software quality phase end reviews of workproduct and process for each software project and produce the required softwareequality reports, as specified in the project's software quality plan. 5. Monitor progress of action item resolution activity and ensure appropriatestakeholders are aware of pending deadlines. 6. Compare actual project procedures to the specified standards, procedures, and,if required, specific 3rd party contractual requirements. 7. Define quality standards. 8. Ensure process improvement opportunities are reviewed by the appropriatecontact to identify training needs of the organization. Mandatoryskills 8 yearsexperience testing (test planning, test development (test cases, test scripts,and test scenarios), and test execution) for large, complex multi-platformapplications 7 years experienceusing HP Mercury test tools. (e.g., Quality Center/ALM, Performance Center,Load Runner, QTP/UFT) 7 yearsexperience using database query tools and writing SQL.
