Title: Windows Infrastructure Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Visa: GC/USC/H4EAD/GCEAD Job Description Summary: Our Infrastructure Engineer will help us to maintain and support our IT systems and platforms. The successful candidate will manage our server and software solutions and assist in any related platform issues to ensure the stability of our environment. Responsibilities: Work with various teams to manage and support our on premise hardware /software solutions. Evaluate software, server and network configurations for robustness, security, and performance. Utilize process automation capabilities such as scripts, applications, APIs or other configuration management tools to ensure that processes are defined, repeatable, and scalable. Conduct timely and accurate upgrades in accordance with best practices. Provide operational support of application and database solutions. Be able to work in a large multi-team environment both locally and abroad. Follow a strict ITIL change control process when making changes. Be able to document, design, and implement various solutions. Participle in after-hours project or maintenance work (nights weekends). Share in an on-call rotation. Qualifications: Experience with various compute technologies such as x86 Hardware (rack, config, ILO/Drac etc.), SAN / Storage (Fiber switches, Storage etc.), Fileservers(SMB, NFS etc.), Dell v Scale (UCS blades, Power Max), Dell vx Rail hyper converged compute / storage, Dell Isilon file server, Dell Unity storage, DellXtremIO storage and Avamar backup. Solid hands-on Windows operating system and networking experience. Knowing how to support and secure an IT infrastructure. Possess strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
