Position: Sr. Network Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months Visa: GC/USC/H4EAD/GCEAD MOI: Video/Phone Candidates who are local to Ohio will be considered first! 100% Remote, candidates must be currently located in the Eastern/Central Time Zones Required (No NYC, Boston, Philly or DC areas because the rates are too high due to a much higher cost of living) Network Engineer 3 The successful candidate will provide 24x7 operational support for the client's Enterprise Network organization. Python and/or Ansible experience is REQUIRED! Provide afterhours and on-call support as needed. A few key items I'll be looking for: Coding/scripting skills (Python, Ansible, API's, GIT, NetDevOps) Cisco DNAC, Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco route/switch Datacenter networking (F5, Palo, DNS) Large enterprise networking experience Must Have: CCNA, Networking, Scripting via Ansible or Python Basic Qualifications: 5 years of experience supporting end to end network technologies such as routers, switches, VPN appliances, firewalls, proxys, load Balancers, DNS appliances, and wireless devices. Knowledge of network programmability usingAPI's, Python scripts and/or Ansible. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto Firewalls, Proxies, F5 LTM/GTM/ASM, Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Cisco Identity Services Engine (Client), Apcon and OPNet. Experience with UNIX/Linux. In-depth experience with dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF. Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design Advanced understanding of performance and monitoring Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology Advanced understanding of best practices and HNB policies Advanced troubleshooting skills Technical certifications such as Cisco CCNP-Enterprise or Datacenter, CCIE, Palo Alto PCCSA, PCNS, PCNSE, or F5.
