Role                       : Production Support Specialist-MID

Locatio   : Tampa - Hybrid onsite 2 days per week

USC & GC Only

Job Description:

Minimum of 6 years of related experience

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Key Technologies requirement: Java/J2EE, Oracle/SQL, IBM MQ, SNOW/ITIL Process, Splunk/Autosys

Key Platform experience: Linux/Unix, AWS,

Technologies that would be advantageous to have Containers (Kubernetes/Docker), IIB, Network understanding

Domain knowledge: Finance and Securities, is preferable

Knows the latest on changes in their own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up

to date.

Communicates openly keeping everyone across the organization informed.

Principal Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot communication, platform and application issues
Ensures completion of Infrastructure and security components required for connectivity: Router/Firewall, Protocol Installation (e.g., FTP, NDM, MQ).
Issue passwords and utilize various mainframe and browser-based tools to authorize and update system and data access in order to allow submission and retrieval of production and test data and information
Review and maintain internal workflow processes involving CAPS to ensure that they are running at optimum efficiency.
Develop workflows and procedures for new products/services and technologies supported by CAPS.
Individual will need to be available and be able to support all business functions off hours and/or from home on an as needed basis
Ability to respond to inquiries regarding file record layouts and other business or data related issues for all applications supported by the department. Interface with other DTCC Departments to resolve out of balance or other production anomalies.
Work with the Planning team on new products, enhancements, account activations and conversions to ensure appropriate support.
Perform inistrative duties including: Profile and Security Masterfile updates, and interfacing with participants.
Prepare daily and monthly application production statistics report for various Management Groups.
Responsible for supporting the department in herence to AML/BSA policies and procedures as set-forth by various regulatory bodies.
Individual will need to be available and be able to support all business functions off hours and/or from home on an as needed basis.

Experience:

-         3-5 years of level 2 data communications support experience

-         3-5 years of industry experience (with varied DTCC products)
