Position Senior Alfabet Consultant Location: Remote (PST) if required might have to travel for 1 week Client:- Software AG Role :- Contract Essential Job Functions Working under the supervision of a PS Project Manager, the PS Alfabet Consultant will: Work in a team setting with lead Alfabet consultants to understand a customer's challenges related to Enterprise Architecture and IT Planning and Portfolio Management Configure solutions that satisfy customer-specific requirements Capture technical specifications, manage tasks, update documentation and/or presentations Deliver Solution Configurations: build user profiles, extend meta-model, design custom reports, develop integrations and/or workflows Support ongoing internal or customer training and enablement initiatives. Assist in the preparation of client proposals and participate in RFP process. The PS Alfabet Consultant may work remotely and/or onsite at the customer location, depending upon specific customer, customer project and project phase. S/he may be required to travel extensively up to 75% of the time. Fluency in English is a requirement. Supervisory responsibility: NO Requirements Skills (Technical): Excellent written and verbal communication skills so as to effectively convey concepts, discuss solution and work effectively with immediate client, supervisor and peers. Strong presentation, organizational and planning skills. Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle or MSSQL-Server preferred) Knowledge of SQL language and database management Knowledge of XML language and structure Knowledge of HTML language and structure Knowledge of any Business Intelligence software or capabilities Well established in MS Operating Systems MS Office proficiency Skills (SOFTskills): Excellent written and verbal communication skills so as to effectively convey concepts, discuss solution and work effectively with immediate client, supervisor and peers. Presentation, organizational and planning skills. Ability to make a general presentation and hold a business conversation highlighting the value of the proposed Alfabet solution. Strong analytical capabilities. Ability to formulate abstract solutions to a generic set of requirements. Excellent time- and task-level management skills. Team-oriented approach to project work and problem solving willingness to work closely with others. Self-motivation, ability to be resourceful with and without direction Education and Experience: BA/BS in Managing Information Systems Computer Science, Engineering; alternative business focus (ie.
