This role demands a proactive leader with a deep understanding of RFID technology and the ability to drive projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary technical expert on RFID technology and maintain the technical roadmap aligned with business goals. Design scalable and reliable RFID systems, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability. Lead hands-on development of RFID middleware, APIs, and software modules. Integrate RFID hardware with core software platforms and databases. Mentor and foster a culture of technical excellence among software engineers. Collaborate with vendors and support teams to troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues. Oversee the development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing, and deployment. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Master's preferred. 7+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in RFID solution design and implementation. Proficiency in Python, C#, Java, or similar programming languages. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and cloud-native RFID solutions. Understanding of IoT architectures and AIDC technologies (barcodes, QR codes, BLE). Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in retail industry use cases. Selection Criteria: Demonstrated technical expertise and strategic thinking in RFID technology. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team. Proven track record of successful RFID system design and implementation.
