The idealcandidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience in a site reliability and/ordevops team. Mustdemonstrate strong problem solving skills and the willingness to learn newtechnologies. Work withBuild/Run teams to review current practices and make recommendations onadopting Continuous Delivery best practices. Theindividual will be expected to assist Build/Run teams in establishing orenhancing their build, deploy, configuration management, and releaseengineering related activities. Assist inanalyzing application configuration management issues in production and test(non-production) environments. Developand maintain configuration and release scripts. Providerelease planning services and installation script development for newapplications where necessary. Developautomated build jobs using continuous integration platforms such as Bamboo. Develop/improveautomated deployment jobs using common scripting languages. Develop/improveand deploy source code branching methodologies and associated automation. Develop/improverelease process improvements and update release standards documentation. Peerreview change tickets to ensure accuracy of application change activities andmitigate risk. Completeassigned tasks by working with individuals and teams that are geographicallydispersed. Activelyparticipating in mentoring junior team members. Work withTeam Leads across the organization to design and implement process improvementin our Build and Deploy space. Knowledgeand experience with Windows 2008/2012/2016 operating systems, IIS, SQL Knowledgeof Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, PowerShell and Serveradministration. Experience& proficiency in one or more major programming or scripting languages (i.e.PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, Python, Java). Experienceworking with Cloud computing solutions, preferably Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Experienceusing Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools. Experienceusing application and synthetic monitoring tools, such as Splunk, AppDynamics,Dynatrace, etc. Stronginterpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Abilityto independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focusedteam. Goodverbal and written communication skills.
