Job Title Lead Business Intelligence and WAM Interview Process video Recruiter Instructions Need only US Citizens Job Description : Basic Function: The Work and Asset Management (WAM) Business Intelligence (BI) Lead will design, construct, test, optimize and deploy solutions that present data, in content and format, per business requirements, to enable analysis and decision support based on the data in scope for the WAM solution. Provide data management and BI reporting strategies and best practices in BI reporting and analytics. Management Responsibility: None Major Responsibilities: Analyze BI business requirements to support the design and development of BI dashboards, queries and reports using WAM BI reporting tools such as BIRT for Maximo reports and Microsoft Power BI for reporting from the data warehouse Support full BI Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation of building BI solutions Build star schema data models in the data warehouse to support BI solutions Support implemented BI solutions by monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance, and communicating functional and technical issues Document and maintain BI solutions for the WAM project and solution Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science or business intelligent or a related field, plus five to eight years of relevant work experience Five years of hands-on Data Warehouse, ETL, and BI development Experience with best practices of Business Intelligence architectures and processes such as Star Schema/Kimball dimensional data modelling Experience with a variety of business intelligence tools and applications, such data visualization, data mining and analytics, ETL/EDW, data processing, and data storage tools Ability to write SQL queries, PL/SQL, and experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases Experience with advanced visualization tools such as BIRT (Maximo) and Microsoft Power BI, or similar tools.
