Team & Environment Diverse engineering team with Senior, Mid-level, and Junior developers working in a POD model. QA is a separate team. The organization is fully Agile with biweekly sprints and frequent releases; development moves at an extremely fast pace. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Build a secure, intuitive, fast, and visually polished application for Teslas Insurance Claims. Quickly learn insurance claim submission/update concepts and apply that knowledge to deliver impactful features. Contribute code rapidly expected to push your first PR within the first week. Collaborate with partner teams to design and implement scalable features using protobuf data contracts. Own a section of the Tesla app and ensure high quality, performance, and reliability. Write documentation and perform code reviews to maintain engineering excellence. Drive continuous improvement of processes, code, and tooling to keep systems safe, fast, and efficient. Apply first-principles thinking to optimize practices and deliver better customer experiences faster. Top Requirements (Must Haves) 3-4 years of hands-on frontend programming experience (ideally within 3-6 years max). Strong expertise with Angular 8+ and TypeScript need 2-3 years hands-on specifically with Angular 8+ & TypeScript. Solid understanding of building scalable and performant web applications. Experience working in enterprise environments with cross-functional teams. Strong programming foundation with clean coding practices and solid debugging skills. Good knowledge of modern development workflows including Git, CI/CD, and testing frameworks. Nice to have: experience in Insurance, Claims, or cross-platform UI design systems.
