Role: SQL DBA
Onsite: Tempe -Arizona and onsite.
3-6 Month Contract To Hire
Needs to have T-SQL and be very proactive in their database work
Need local only with LinkedIn
Interview Process:
Speak with me, present to client
Phone screen with client
SQL Assessment, online
2 in person (one with hiring manager and the CIO) will try to do together if possible, but may be 2 separate interviews
Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements and prioritize tasks as necessary
Perform database installations, upgrades, migrations & patching
Review and optimize existing databases and T-SQL codebase
Validate and implement SQL code
Test, debug and deploy various database related applications
Design database architecture for new applications
Support and train junior developers in TSQL best practices
Document development and operational procedures
Desired Skills:
High-level experience in SQL Development and Database Architecture
Considerable experience with Microsoft T-SQL and building complex queries
Significant experience designing databases for business applications
Strong experience developing ETL packages using SSIS
Proficiency in database and query optimization as well as indexing strategies
Knowledge of data structures, database design and ability to create functional data models
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities
Solid verbal and written communication skills suitable for a professional environment
Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, identify facts, and draw valid conclusions
