Position: Salesforce Configuration Specialist (Lead) Location: Remote Duration: 6 Month Visa: GC/USC/H4EAD/GCEAD Client: State of California Job description: Responsibilities The consultant is to provide Salesforce configuration, high-level analysis, and development services for a six (6) month implementation project and six (6) months of Maintenance and Operations (M& O) period. The consultant is also required to assess existing roadmaps, enterprise architecture (EA) artifacts, and planned data architecture, then develop a specific project roadmap that will implement the minimum viable amount of functionality (MVP) within Salesforce within six to eight (6-8) months of project start. The Contractor shall also provide an additional roadmap and a list of enhancements that can be considered by the client after MVP completion. The Consultant will work directly with the client personnel by including them in all technology-related efforts related to the implementation. The strategy will be to have client personnel, already trained in the Salesforce environment, learn on the job training in parallel as opposed to having the Contractor provide a separate knowledge transfer step at the end of the project. This includes any expertise or insights the contractor will provide regarding the Mule Soft ETL tool and Snowflake data warehouse and any other solution involved in the configuration of the Salesforce system. The contractor is also expected to provide a project schedule, project communication plan, requirements traceability matrix (RTM), and technical documentation (i.e., technical, and functional design documents).
