Role: TPF Developer Location: Onsite (Atlanta, USA) Contract Job Description : Looking for a 6+ years of experienced TPF developer (TPF, TPF-DF, TPF C and any TPF API) responsible for participating in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of applications in the TPF environment. Responsibilities: Understand business requirements in order to provide the technical design of computer software. Possess programming expertise in one of Delta standard programming languages in order to develop and maintain computer software. Develop appropriate software and documentation according to Delta standards. Support and troubleshoot computer systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow up on all problems. Follow Delta standards and methodologies in the development and implementation of computer software. *May perform other duties as assigned. Basic Entry Requirements: Ability to work within a team environment. Experience building computer software within the Airline business a plus. Experience in developing and maintaining software for a z/TPF operating system. Must have 6 years of TPF application experience Must have a good working knowledge of the structure of a PNR Must understand and have experience with the Schedule Change process and its impact on PNRs Must be familiar with the concept of a PNR and its use Must be able to code proficiently in TPF, TPF-DF, TPF C and any TPF API Must have a good understanding of teletype processing. Must be able to understand and code using TPFDF database structures Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training in the computer systems development field.
