Collaborate with PMand developers to better understand how customers interface and use our productto design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automatethem Generate comprehensivetest plans, execute and automate them for web, mobile and hardware platformsflawlessly to deliver on time with the highest quality Build, enhance andmaintain automation frameworks utilized by team to automate critical userscenarios for regression testing Collect and reportquality metrics from test executions Involve in technicaldiscussions and deep dives with engineers to timely discover and resolve issues Support engineeringand development organizations in troubleshooting and/or addressing issues withapplications and dev/test environments. Typical Day in the Role Work with developmentteam and PM to understand features assigned to the sprint, develop test cases,test the features, file defects and own the feature end to end Add automation forexisting web or backend test cases Working in a sprintcadence with the development and PM team Own feature end to endin a small pod structure Learn automation bestpractices and tips Team based Possible conversion toFT Qualifications: 5 years of softwarequality assurance and test automation for mobile, web and backend API Ability to understandvarious testing techniques (e.g., performance, unit, integration, automated),their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues Strong CSfundamentals, including OO concepts, data structures, algorithms, anddistributed systems Ability to optimizeand efficiently use the tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control,profilers, Postman) to assist with day-to-day tasks Fluency with Java andscripting (e.g. JavaScript), Git, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery. Proven experiencedeveloping comprehensive and effective test and performance tools, as well asframeworks (such as Java, Junit, TestNG, Selenium, Appium, Protractor and otheropen-source projects) Proven ability todrive cross-team technical discussions and decision making with a solidunderstanding of SDLC concepts BS in ComputerScience/Engineering or equivalent experience Top 3 must-have hard skills Good communicator towork with team to understand the features and manage bugs within the team.
