Job Summary:

The Business Analyst position is within MUFG Securities, TEC-Corporate Technology. Business analyst responsible for delivering projects for the Operations department. The Operations department services to MUFG Branches and relevant Front offices to deliver best in class client experience & business growth in a controlled environment. Operations is responsible for markets Settlement, Payment & Cash Clearing/Funding, postsettlement activities, Reconciliations Control and Regulatory Reporting This role will report to a Program Lead in Technology and will be accountable for the core responsibilities identified belo This role will partner with a functional sponsor as well as various functional stakeholders. This role will require the leadership and coordination of various resources and the delivery of new processes, procedures, and technology. The id candidate will be responsible for coordinating and conducting functional validation before product/project launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs. Responsibilities: Working with functional Operations leads and IT team to define approaches, requirements and testing Objectives planning, defining scope and deliverables Creation and approval of core project documentation including business requirements, functional requirements, cases, technical specifications, Epics/stories, current and future state diagrams and support user acceptance testi Documentation of all required meeting materials and develop target state operating procedures Hands on product and data specialist Able to independently review and evaluate data sources, business rules etc... Support process re-engineering opportunities front to back for markets products Help the projects to capture and maintenance of all dynamic data within the core systems which impacts downstream Ops processing Project plan activity/SDLC tracking - planning, sequencing and working with Development and QA teams Assist in testing phases to review test strategy, plans and test cases as well as documentation Risk and issue identification, communication and resolution

Will this role be onsite, hybrid or remote If hybrid please let me know the work schedule. Hybrid schedule 3 days a week in NY office.

Any chance this role will extend beyond the current end date Yes and depends on performance of consultant.

Skills: Qualifications and Skills:

12+ years of experience working with various Broker/Dealer products securities processing including Equities, Bon Treasuries, ABS, MBS, Securitized Products, Repos/Reverse Repo, Stock Borrow/Loan Prior experience in understanding and delivering requirements for Collateral Management system for the firm (en to end) or have working experience as a member of Operations supporting Collateral management Experience delivering Operations related projects, familiarity with processes and controls, 6+ years working in Cha efforts for Financial Services Must be a strong writer and communicator with experience writing BRDs and FRDs Managed trade requirements throughout the transaction lifecycle Streamline interface to the business to end to end operational processes supporting the securities and derivative product Analyses to warehouse and manage all Cash, Stock, FOBO and Inter-system reconciliations and help to investigate fine-tune requirements. Ability to work across departments including Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk and various Front and Back Offices Experience with middle office systems, working with Broadridge systems Finpro/ BPS/ Impact Experience with an Oracle General Ledger and Murex applications a plus Prior experience managing vendors highly desirable Prior experience in Waterfall and Agile Methodologies Prior experience in JIRA and SharePoint required Ability to present well and communicate clearly SQL preferred experience in Oracle, SQL Server databases Go-getter attitude, ability to multitask and work in a team environment Education: Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (Preferred)
