Madison, WI In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining. Perform data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation. Develop processes and procedures for entering information into data warehousing systems and for ensuring reliability of information entered. Seek continuous improvement in the data warehouse performance and ensure data security. Recognized as an advanced individual contributor. NOTE -- This position is currently hybrid, 90-100% remote. However, the client may require staff to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice, so the successful candidate will need to be within commute distance of Madison, WI. TARGET PROFILES(in order of SKILLS - CORE: desirability) #1 - DW Arch 10+ years. Informatica 8+ years. BOBJ 7+ years. Experience with Oracle, SQL Server and DB2 databases. SKILLS - CORE: Datawarehouse Architecture and Datawarehouse projects, including logical and physical data modeling and optimization Informatica Expertise in SQL, with database experience in Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server Business Objects universe and reporting design and development skills with experience in methods for optimizing the Business Objects universe against the physical model Is candidate is willing and able to provide their own equipment for this position SKILLS - MAJORITY REQUIRED: Demonstrated experience in the design and utilization of performance measures and reports to manage inventory, analyze cost, and maximize return on investment of monetary and human resources. Project manager or leader Expertise in implementation of large complicated models and processes Excellent organization, analytical, and communication skills Ability to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures including test/use cases Ability to navigate and query a relational database (Oracle) to both develop reports and to perform data validation using common tools including SQL/PLSQL .
