LinkedIn needed Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced UAT (User Acceptance Testing) QA Manager to lead and manage all UAT activities, including planning, execution, tracking, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in software testing methodologies, SDLC processes, and defect management, along with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. This role requires close collaboration with technical and business teams to ensure that all testing activities align with business requirements and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across multiple systems and platforms. Develop detailed test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios for large, complex systems. Facilitate daily defect triage meetings, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication of issues. Track and report UAT progress, metrics, and QA deliverables to stakeholders and leadership. Manage UAT schedules, dependencies, and risks to ensure timely delivery. Drive interface and integration testing across systems and applications. Identify gaps in test coverage and ensure that all business requirements are validated. Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to resolve conflicts and testing issues. Utilize Jira and Xray for test management, execution, and reporting. Ensure adherence to QA best practices and continuous improvement of testing processes. Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of experience in software testing and QA management. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Quality Assurance (QA) principles. Proven expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management. Hands-on experience with Jira and Xray for test case management and reporting. Experience testing web applications in AWS environments. Proficient in HP/Mercury Quality Center or equivalent tools. Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams, priorities, and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mainframe programming or test automation. Working knowledge of protocols supporting software development in mainframe and distributed environments. Prior experience leading UAT for enterprise-scale programs with multiple stakeholders.
