From: Shane, Simpalm [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Description Simpalm is looking to hire a Software Tester/QA Analyst 4 (702261) - HYBRID for our direct State Client in Richmond, VA. This is a long-term opportunity. The opportunity requires the candidate to be able to work in a HYBRID fashion, with 2-3 Days/week on-site. This position will work with HBE staff, multiple vendors and other agencies to support Virginias transition from the healthcare.gov platform to the state-based exchange Get Insured (GI) vendor platform. Must have 5+ Years of experience in quality assurance and testing Experience with health and human services or health insurance and processes is a plus (CMS, HHS, Medicaid Agency) Strong Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and tools (e.g. JIRA, TFS, Cucumber) Excellent Communication and Problem-solving skills Experience leading user acceptance testing and managing test cases/scenarios Experience working with contract vendors Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Responsibilities Collaborate with the contractor vendors to ensure the quality of our SAAS solution Support/lead user acceptance testing and ensure that test cases and scenarios are created and kept up to date Work on the state-based exchange platform implementation and other SAAS solutions, including our website, learning management system, and email marketing platform Conduct manual and automated testing to validate the functionality and performance of the software Work closely with the QA vendor and HBE staff to review, create, and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases/scripts, procedures, and other technical documentation for the GI platform and other software solutions. Analyze test results and report on the status of the software's quality Identify, document, and coordinate with the development/technical team to resolve defects in the software Assist with the planning and coordination of testing activities Identify and advocate for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process Preferred Experience in Health and Human Services or Health Insurance Applications.
