| From: Venkata Subbareddy, iTechUS [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role Support Engineer PLM Engineer Role Name VCP MO Platform Support Engineer PLM Support Engineer Duties & Responsibilities New installation of softwares in customer environment remotely / physically Implementing / deploying software releases as per plan in customer environment remotely Implementing / deploying changes in software in customer environment remotely Associate should monitor the multiple customer environments with the help of remote monitoring tools Associates should have a thorough knowledge of the SLAs Associated should have a thorough understanding of the : o Incident Management Process o Change Management Process o Problem Management Process Collaborating / working with multiple teams across globe (EUROPE, USA, APAC and India) Travel to customer location on need basis Experience : 4-8 years Associates should have good communication skills, Experience in L1 & L2 support and in stakeholder management Analytical skills for problem solving Working experience in customer secure location following all the process and security protocols Working experience with Offshore team (India) Should have excellent communication skills and help with customer coordination Associate should have technical knowledge in : o Linux Administration o Hadoop Data Platform o Mongo DB Administration o Splunk o Mesosphere DCOS o Knowledge on Container Translate user feedback into requirements and use cases. Build testing strategies to describe various levels of tests and when to use each appropriate level, based on feedback and use cases. Support software test infrastructure. Recommend security improvements. Cross collaborate with teams across various projects and customers on feasibilities and applications' customizations. Responsible for software development support activities for systems local or remote, which includes installation, software patch, system security, data backup, storage management, VM, and problem analysis activities. Recommends and/or participates in system architecture, security, and design, including, but not limited to, software, hardware infrastructure, network, and vendor analysis. Define improvement proposals that focus on system performance and process efficiency for end-users. Investigate and implement non-standard changes with a limited scope. Ensures all IT standard processes and procedures and Service Level Agreements are met. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
