Location: Plano, TX (Day one onsite) Duration: Long-term Contract Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. Active participation in both the current state and future state of test planning and execution, including, but not limited to, functional, integration, and regression testing Collaborate with developers to incorporate the effective creation of test cases and plans into each sprint cycle Develop / implement / maintain manual testing best practices Participates in complex design and technical discussions and Create test data if required Assists in development of a detailed technical roadmap that aligns with our product vision across different business functions Mentor team members from junior to highly experienced software testers Subject matter expert in full-stack of multiple products/projects On-time delivery of tests committed to, test plan creation, test plan execution, and test results reporting Increased functional, integration, and regression testing feature coverage Proven track record implementing moderately complex testing strategies and reporting solutions Working knowledge of common software architectures (web/mobile/API/DB) Use tools like POSTMAN for web services/API Testing. Experience & Qualifications: 4 years of relevant experience related to the job description 5+ years' relevant experience in a QA Analyst/Tester/Lead, or similar QA function role. 5 years' Experience in Life Insurance industry Proven track record implementing testing strategies and reporting solutions Working knowledge of common software architectures (web/mobile/API/DB) Proficient working with relational databases such as MySQL & PostgreSQL Proficiency with cloud technologies (either AWS or Azure). Ability to work in complex pre-production environments Professional attitude, leading by example Driven and passionate about quality assurance, software development, and agile methodologies Thanks!
