TCPIP Profile Configuration Having knowledge on the IP, UDP and TCP configuration parameters / AUTOLOG interactions / Route definitions / Interface configuration. IP Routing - Static and Dynamic Deep understanding on how IP routing works, both static and dynamic / Subnetting / Layer 2, Layer 3 and Layer 4 understanding. Common IP Based Applications Support Experienced in supporting FTP, SMTP, SSH, TELNET, TSO. Network Security Implementation Experienced in implementing and supporting TLS. Other protocols are a plus, but TLS is a must-have. Enterprise Extender Implementation of SNA over IP Networks. File Transfer Applications Having worked with Connect Direct, XCOM, Netview FTP, CFT File Transfer Manager, etc. SNA and IP Networks Deep understanding on how SNA and IP networks work, how they interact with each other, and how to troubleshoot them.
