| From: Vijay Chepyala, Talent Group [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role : QA Lead for BPM Pega Applications Location: Plano, TX (Permanent remote) Duration: 12+Months Contract Job Description: Note: QA Lead is expected to lead a team of onsite and offshore BPM Pega testers and also contribute as a hands on senior tester on the project. 10+ years of overall experience with multiple years as QA Team Lead, working on BPM Pega applications. Candidate should be comfortable with hands on testing work as well since the customer is not looking for just a people manager, but for a senior tester/lead who can support the team with hands on testing work as well. POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : Capability to understand the big picture system / app / product and weave in a comprehensive test plan with an Agile delivery methodology Proactively manage test readiness, environments, test data quality, resource alignment to meet project goals. Ensure that the QA project resources develop supporting test cases and documentation for applications developed in Pega Work with all stake holders to ensure that the quality metrics is Defined, tracked, reviewed, closed as agreed upon. Define and incorporate into the testing strategy all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, load, stress, acceptance testing etc. are getting covered and determine test tooling Identify and resolve root cause that contributes to increased defects/re-work Ability to develop a test strategy and plan that encompasses multiple solution work streams with a given project. Ensure test documentation / reporting is complete, meaningful and aligns with project objectives and timelines.
