This person will represent the client and help keep their system integrator on track. Background: Our client is a large chemical company looking to hire an SAP S4 Techno-Functional Project Manager. This person will represent the client and help keep their system integrator on track. For someone to be successful in this role, they should have both technical and functional experience. They should also have some sort of S4 global implementation under their belt. They need someone who can clearly articulate potential risks and give a high-level functional overview to the business as well. This person will have the SI team to lean on, but they will also be the point person pushing project deliverables vs delegating work out to other teams. They want to see a combination of soft skills and hard skills. Someone that has both technical exposure (understands ECC or S4 from an integrations standpoint) as well as business-facing experience. If someone had any knowledge of finance, that would also be a plus here. Keep in mind they are not looking for someone who has hands on architect experience - there is an SI to lean on for that. But again, someone who has the exposure to how the integrations work within SAP ECC or S4 Hana.
