Title :Robotics SW Test Engineer Location : Wilmington MA for hybrid (2/ 3 days in office) -- Need locals only Duration : 6 months contract to hire Client : Symbotic, LLC Rate : $50/hr on C2C NEED DOB ( MM/DD) NEED DL COPY NEED LINKEDIN PROFILE NO VIOP OF GOOGLE VOICE NUMBERS They will interview for two rounds 1) Manager 2) Team Must haves: * B.S. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent * Experience with general purpose programming environments, languages and scripting systems, data analysis packages, Linux, C++, git * 1+ years of experience with scripting tools Python & Bash * Familiarity with robotics, mechatronics, or embedded systems * 1+ years of experience with testing automation designed in Python and PyTest is desirable Day to day: * Design, implement and run test frameworks for a material handling mobile robot. This will involve Gazebo simulation in addition to development of test software to control real hardware. * Support integration testing of systems and subsystems * System level debug of hardware/software components for mobile robot platform * Implement and conduct tests via scripting, data log parsing and analysis (grep, regex) * Exhibit a curious nature who seeks to understand the root cause of issues by digging into logs and other data collected. * Collaborate with developers to develop tests for new robot features. * Troubleshoot system problems in production or design by investigating issues related to product performance or production difficulties. * Provide technical support for manufacturing as needed. * Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum based environment.
