Position PeopleSoft Financials Functional Consultant Location Remote Job Responsibilities Business Analysis: Work with financial accounting and reporting teams to analyze business structure and processes. Data model and troubleshoot business processes. Lead and challenge stakeholder conversations when gathering requirements. Weigh up business interests, system solutions and resources when negotiating solutions with stakeholders. Document business requirements. Project Management: Identify tasks and responsibilities to develop a project plan. Manage project timeline with project resources to meet deadlines. Lead meetings with stakeholders from different teams, often senior accountants. Influence stakeholders when proposing system solutions. SDLC project phases management. Present updates to program manager. Skills PeopleSoft Financials experience: System support and development experience. General Ledger journal processing, integration and reporting experience. Allocation configuration experience. Mandatory Skills: Solid understanding and familiarity with: core finance and accounting practices management reporting PeopleSoft GL query, journal processing and allocation configuration. Proactive and autonomous problem-solving skills. Very strong MS Excel skills. Preferred Skills: PeopleSoft experience across all modules. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. MS PowerPoint presentation skills. Thorough documentation experience. Translate business processes and requirements into functional system solutions. Personal Attributes: Keen attention to detail. Highly self-motivated and directed. Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Adaptable when identifying solutions and recommendations. Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines. Congenial personality with the ability to lead, persuade, encourage, and motivate.
