Job Description TITLE: Sr. IT Project Manager / Scrum Master with experience in the Financial Services / Banking / Asset Management Job location: New York- HYBRID Visa: Any but No H1B & OPT-CPT's This is a hands-on Project Manager/Scrum Master position that will lead the implementation and delivery of technology solutions in support of the established and rapidly evolving Distribution Technology organization. The candidate for this role will be expected to work closely with a variety of teams in New York, Europe and Asia, the PM/Scrum Master will help define projects and manage the successful execution and completion of those projects as part of the overall roadmap. The Distribution Technology team leads all significant tech initiatives for Client Coverage/CRM, Funds Administration, Marketing and Client Service/Reporting. This position will be focused on the needs of the Salesforce team. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business and technology leaders to structure and manage projects. This includes planning and tracking task execution, deliverables, issues and communication across business and technology teams. Coordinate all aspects of project management leveraging Waterfall and Agile methodologies, addressing the changing needs and requirements along the way. Chair all Agile ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Grooming, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective) and manage the backlog. Manage individual projects to achieve project goals. Define project scope, resourcing, deliverables, impact and business value. Perform ongoing assessment of requirements to ensure the delivered solutions are meeting the stated requirements. Communicate status of deliverables, key issues, risks & dependencies to ensure successful project delivery. Analyze business requirements to ensure that the project meets functional and operational goals. Collaborate with business teams to understand business processes, system requirements and potential improvements. Capture and document requirements as part of agile development projects. Collaborate with external vendors to implement changes and manage change requests. Ensure proper testing and acceptance criteria process are being followed by coordinating work between QA, business and technical teams. Work with business teams to deploy systems, provide training and gather feedback. Requirements 12+ years of experience in IT 5-7 years of business analysis/project management experience. Previous experience in Software Development is highly preferred MUST HAVE experience in Financial Services / Banking / Asset Management Proven experience with at Scrum or Kanban project management framework Manage Scrum ceremonies (daily, retrospective, planning, review) Encouraging agile behaviors, reinforcing practices, standards, ceremonies and supporting the overall performance and effectiveness of the Scrum team Excellent business analysis skills Must have a strong track record of working with business teams to capture requirements successfully, ensure delivered systems meet requirements and drive process improvements Strong project management skills must demonstrate a track record of successful definition and delivery of projects. Experience with Project and Program management best practices (including Gantt & Agile) and experience applying them in an appropriate manner.
