Description We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong Power BI and Azure Data Factory skills for a 7 Month assignment working remotely from anywhere in the US on a project for our Austin, Texas client. Tasks will include: Develop physical data models. Design, create, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Azure Data Factory that ingest and processes data from various sources. Execute the build, test, and deployment of full lifecycle solutions for ETL solutions. Work with the project team to create conceptual data models and data flows. Implement processes and solutions that ensure pipeline efficiency and monitor the data quality and pipeline status. Engage in best practices in data analytics and data engineering including robust validation processes, testing/deployment procedures, version control and code integration, thorough documentation, and automation and streamlining of data processing pipelines. Analyze technical issues, research available solutions, and make recommendations for integrating new solutions into existing environments. Prepare system documentation, develops standards and education for users. Assist with training users on software, including reporting on new features and enhancements. Dashboard mockup development and user validation in Power BI Acquire data from a variety of data sources for use by (Power BI) dashboards and reports. Connect Power BI data visualization objects to external data sources, including the testing and validation of the Power BI object's ability to connect. Collaborate with other members of the Team on the design and implementation of an optimal data design to support a reporting system. Testing, validation, and deployment of reports and Power BI objects into a production environment. Comply with our client's data security policy.
