About the Company and Opportunity: Business Analyst Headquartered in Houston, TX Excellent work life balance Remote with flexible working hours Great company culture with strong leadership High opportunity for career growth Overview of the Business Analyst role: Liaison with software partners, member companies and internal resources Analyze and document business process flows and system data flows Function as a key contributor to outsourced software development team Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new feature functional designs, functional requirements, limitations, and implementations of new initiatives Apply baseline understanding of standard APIs and other common application development concepts to technical and functional discussions Become the functional subject matter expert for the businesses supported as it pertains to systems and applications Serve as team representative on the weekly Change Management, presenting changes and identifying potential external impacts to team Communicate updates to users including release notes, general announcements Assist with Sprint management (sprint reviews, user story creation/refining, etc.) Willing to assist with some aspects of project management with the interest to grow this skill set over time and potentially taking on additional project management responsibilities Preferred Qualifications for the Business Analyst 3+ years working in a software development as a technical BA Must have at least 1-2 years experience working with Enterprise level Blockchain. Solid understanding of Blockchain principles, platforms and solutions to support the consortiums many current and future projects Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills; specifically with building and maintaining relationships Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), waterfall, Agile, Kanban Experience working in project management applications such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar There are over 10 projects and the BA will be involved with most of them so candidate must be very organized, flexible, & high energy Experience with running meetings and being in control of the process Solid understanding of Microsoft TEAMS Experience with contract management and RFP processes a plus Will be asked to occasionally come to the office for meetings or social events so Looking for candidate in Houston or Texas but will consider outside of Texas Keywords: business analyst information technology Colorado Texas |
