They will not interview anyone whose most recent experience is not from a bank. Job Description: 1. Work in an agile and fast-paced environment interfacing with management, business and senior technology members 2. Understand technical and Business processes of various front office, trading and settlement applications 3. Understand business requirements, processes and specifications required to support implementation 4. Communicate and coordinate effectively with business analysts and cross functional technology teams 5. Document technical specifications, functional flows and drive the projects autonomously 6. Architect and design high performance, robust and scalable systems 7. Design and implement applications utilizing complex Java/J2EE technologies and middleware systems 8. Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code 9. Manage end-to-end development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing and maintenance 10. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems 11. Develop Web Interfaces using GWT for client facing applications 12. Provide status updates, proper escalations & reporting to management & business 13. Manage Source Code repository and support production releases 14. Identify and assist in resolution of risks and issues that will adversely affect planned project milestones Qualifications: Bachelors degree or foreign education equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering with 10+ years of experience performing Java/J2EE software engineering within a financial services environment (capital markets ). Skillset Requirements: 15. Core JAVA, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate 16. Distributed Caching, EhCache 17. Apache, Tomcat 18. Sybase/SQL Server/Oracle/RDBMS 19. Web Services 20. Kafka,JMS, MQ, Tibco 21.
