My apologies if this position is not an ideal fit, we'll keep you in mind for other suitable positions and referrals would be appreciated Job Title :- Network (data LAN/WAN) Engineer Job Location :- Phoenix, AZ Onsite Job Description: - Performance Objectives: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to: o Build efficient life cycle management methodologies of network infrastructure with an automation first mindset o Adhere to best practices and procedures for IT Network infrastructure management through daily system monitoring and verifying the integrity and availability of network resources o Serve as an escalation point for investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving Network infrastructure related issues in production, QA and DEV environments o Adhere to periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning o Monitor and perform ongoing performance tuning, resource optimizations, and make improvement recommendations o Willingness to provide after hours on-call support o Find ways to report metrics and analytics on the health of Networking technologies o Coordinate meetings and communicate with non-technical staff on project o Build and implement Network designs using reference architectures for project and operational needs - Requirements: o Years of experience: 5 - 7 years experience with CISCO LAN and WAN administration in a VMware and/or cloud environment o Passive cabling identification, connecting and preparing cross connects, installation to the cabinets, orientation in DC o Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) from a regionally accredited institution.
