Title: DevOps Engineer Duration: 12 Month Location: Raleigh North Carolina MOI: Skype Pleasesubmit the candidate from a trusted third party who can pay us referral Job Description: The NorthCarolina Department of the State Treasurer is seeking an experienced DevOpsEngineer to lead the creation of DevOps automations and establish the processesinvolved in the migration of vital web applications to the cloud and thenmaintenance and production support of all DevOps related activities once thoseweb applications have been migrated up to the cloud. You willhelp select/design an appropriate code branching strategy. You willhelp guide the transition from on-premise to cloud from the very earlystages. You willcreate pipelines to build and deploy .Net projects to Azure. You willdefine and provide ongoing maintenance and improvements to the new SDLCprocesses going forward. Excellentcommunication skills are as important as technical acumen to this role. Ability to lead modernization of legacy processes around build and deployment automation, code merges, related monitoring, maintenance, & support Required 5 years Ability to train and coach team members of all skill levels on migration steps and ongoing SDLC practices Required 5 years Ability to create written training materials & plans for maintaining/extending the process framework as the number of microservices expands over time Required 5 years Fluency in scripting tools/languages (Powershell/Azure CLI/Bash/YAML) Required 5 years Experience with Azure DevOps/TFS, Azure Pipelines, JIRA, work items or similar issue tracking mechanisms and their role in the overall picture Required 4 years Experience with tools or technologies such as Bicep, Terraform, Ansible, etc. Required 4 years Experienced with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Required 4 years Experienced with creating adaptable, repeatable, automation solutions with an attention to mitigating configuration drift and change management Required 4 years Devops experience with large enterprise applications and microservice architectures Required 4 years Strong knowledge of certificates, DNS, AD, load balancers, firewalls and Azure related security matters Required 3years Experienced with containers and orchestrators (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes) Required 3 years Experience with hybrid cloud/on-premise deployment environments Highly desired 2 years Experience with DevSecOps and shift-left security tools and practices 2 years Experience with automated unit and integration testing tools (MS Test, xUnit, nUnit) as well as infrastructure testing and monitoring Highly desired 2 years Experience with deployment scenarios in microservice based architectures 2 years Microsoft DevOps Engineer Certification Nice to Have 2 years Regards, Saloni Chaurasia { Technical Recruiter } TEK Inspirations LLC Pvt.
