Role: Salesforce Devops Engineer Location: NYC NY(onsite)(Hybrid) Duration: 12 +Months Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for setting up continuous delivery (ci/cd) pipeline primarily for salesforce integrated projects Ensure all Salesforce updates move from development through staging to production seamlessly through automation Implement solutions for ongoing/new project devops requirements through geographically dispersed team Environment provisioning, sandbox management, data management Ability to collaborate with developers, product managers, QE, support teams to support ongoing environment, code move, release management process Responsible to identify opportunities to automate recurring activities and identifying long-term options such as self-service. Championing the mindset of DevOps and Agile within the team to achieve business benefits including: Faster Time to Market, Faster ROI, Predictable Release Cadence, Optimized Delivery Times, Cost Optimization, Risk Reduction Technical background as Dev/Sysadmin/Automation is essential In addition to being a senior contributor, also Provide technical leadership and guidance for the devops team Act as escalation point and be available to support weekend releases as applicable Required Background: 8+ years Salesforce Administration, Release Management or Developer experience Ability to read, interpret and write Apex, SQL/SOQL/SAQL code Solutioning experience in Salesforce Service Cloud (certified administrator, certified developer) Ability to design for processes that are efficient and solutions that are scalable. Ability to learn quickly, excellent written and spoken communication Results oriented, highly organized who can handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced agile environment Technical skills: Languages: Apex Database Technologies: SQL, SOQL Scripting: Shell, batch SF Deployment: SFDX, Change sets, SF Metadata API Version control tools: Git, Bitbucket Build Automation tools: AutoRabit, Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, Apache Ant Project tracking tools: Jira, Additional Skills: Experience in any programming language (Python, Java), test automation, AWS cloud, Code coverage, Unit testing Thanks, and regards.
