Position: Salesforce Architect, No H1B Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ Months MOI: Phone and Video The Salesforce Architect will be responsible for leading projects through the requirements definition and solution design phases for a business unit for a global Life Sciences client. This is a contract to hire role. The architect will be responsible for tracking the enterprise portfolio and assist project teams to shape the architecture consistent across Salesforce Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, CRMA, and CDP. This role will work directly with the project team and internal customers. This role will own the solution architecture and design to support the Marketing Cloud and Health Cloud teams. The role also requires definition, documentation, roadmap for current and future states, resolves technical issues in areas of ownership. This role will collaborate with I&T partners, review the implemented business processes and work with the different stake holders to continue adding enhancements by developing optimization strategy. This role will be engaged with Salesforce at various levels, customize Salesforce to fit business requirements, resolves technical issues in areas of ownership, ensures that all parts of the technical design are correctly incorporated, defines the development tools and environment and provides technical support and quality control leadership through all stages of operations and projects This role will play lead role in the selection, evaluation and implementation of necessary vendors and technologies, play a key role in recommending process improvements. Develop and Enhance Salesforce Platform Participate in the design, modification, implementation, and/or maintenance of project management, policies and procedures. Redesign when appropriate for maximum efficiency Designing system architectures that support business processes and improve performance, scalability, security, and reliability Recommending improvements to existing applications or developing new software to meet business needs. Training & Communication Document and communicate the results of requirements analysis Accountable for creating training deck associated with the process/service as required Foster effective communication with team members for Salesforce release updates, and issue reporting Communicate ideas and innovation thinking with cross functional team User support tickets Operational Excellence Documents, reviews and ensures that all quality and change control standards are met Develop robust, scalable and flexible solutions through the creation of architectural designs, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts and demonstrate solution functionality to Strive stakeholders Work with Product Owner and SCRUM Master throughout the SDLC and be able to break down epics into queueable work for team of Salesforce Administrators and Developers understanding the technical depth of the project and validates correct resources for the assigned tickets Anticipate, evaluate, and report on downstream and cross functional impacts of solution design Ownership and documentation of solution design, build plan, release strategies, technical specifications, and other configurations for our Salesforce org to meet business requirements. Condenses complex technical concepts into non-technical language for stakeholders. Resources & Leadership Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management Gather and report critical information from meetings with various stakeholders Conduct code reviews and QA the work of the team of Salesforce Administrators and Developers and provide feedback to ensure adherence to design best practices. Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of project. Required Skills & Experience: Understands company needs to be able to define systems architecture and systems specifications Understands present architecture and drive technological features that drive future architectures Proposes practical strategies for leveraging technology as enablers for driving IT and Business value Responsible for tracking the enterprise architecture portfolio and assists project teams to shape architectures consistent with platforms, roadmaps and standards for architect and design Leads the planning and design of the structure of a technology solution \\Communicates system requirement to development teams and supports development and implementation Leads the evaluation and select appropriate software or hardware and integration methods Leads assigned programs and provides guidance to team members Owns leading and solving technical problems when they arise Ensures the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure solutions Owns addressing technical concerns, ideas and ongoing improvements Monitors systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals Leads, develops and implements plans to facilitate and coordinate delivery of technical services and support Ensures acceptable levels of performance for IT systems to meet business requirements Creates and maintains technical and operational documentation Stays current with technological developments in the marketplace, new advances and features in technologies Ensures systems maintenance plans are developed, planned, executed, tracked and adhered to Provides leadership in the change control process aligned with policies and procedures Manages reporting in area, enforces adherence to IT departmental guidelines, policies, security, compliance and controls Work with administrators and functional stakeholders to create training materials and documentation for end users Experience with database design concepts, middleware concepts, and user interface development Experience with 3rd Party integrations and popular AppExchange offerings Experience with custom development concepts such as flows, apex, triggers and web services in order to guide the Developers on your project team to implement your designs Experience in Apex, Visual Force, Lightning Components, Force.com IDE, SFDC APIs, SOSL, SOQL, SOAP or REST based web services, SQL, XML, JSON, CSS and JavaScript Experience utilizing development frameworks and libraries, such as the Lightning Component Framework, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and query, or equivalent. Experience with DevOps tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred skills: Require 5+ years of Salesforce architect experience Project management experience.
