Role: Sr. Systems / Functional Analyst Location: Boston, MA (Remote) Duration: Long term contract Basic Qualifications: 5+ years as a developer and/or systems analyst with the ability to manage dynamic/tight timelines and wield diplomacy and influence among various personality types. Experience being an analyst on an Agile software development team: soliciting business requirements, story grooming, writing acceptance criteria. Systems implementation and development experience spanning a broad range of architectures: UI, middleware, event-based systems, messaging frameworks, caching, APIs, microservices, databases, enterprise cloud enabled distributed systems (Azure/AWS), containerization. Deep knowledge of several programing languages: PostgreSQL, SQL MDS, NodeJS, AngularJS Exposure to Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) frameworks such as AWS Lambda, GIT, Jenkins, uDeploy, etc. Experience working in an agile software development environment. Exposure to test automation frameworks that support all types of testing (unit, component, integration, system etc.). Document design options and decisions and present these in an organized manner to technical as well as non-technical audiences. Strong contributor with a collaborative work style in building, crafting, and reviewing code. Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, Agile/DevOps, and partnership with the business. Preferred Qualifications A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Systems, or equivalent technical experiences. Demonstrating skill in systems analysis, SDLC, and change management, and requirements gathering. Can clearly document design options / decisions, and present these in an organized manner to technical as well as non-technical audiences. Working in a Medical Device or Regulated Industry.
