PREFERRED : Project Engineering and/or Project Management exp; PMP and/or P.E. in related discipline; PLSCADD, AutoCAD, Primavera and other software. Location: Juno Beach, FL Type: long-term contract Duration:18+ months with possible extensions Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested, to guarantee the Client that the candidate submitted, interviewing and showing up for work is one and the same Requirements: Availability to work on Clients site in Juno Beach, FL (required); Experience in the development, design, engineering, and construction of high voltage transmission line and substation projects (7+ years) Experience with Early-Stage design; Experience in project management; Experience with standard industry tools such as PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, Primavera, and other software (preferred); Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience with a strong bias for action (preferred); PMP and/or P.E. in a related discipline (preferred); Valid Drivers license; Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering Responsibilities: Be responsible for transmission line and HV substation projects from conception (Early Stage) through turnover to the execution team; typically, at a 3060% design completion level; Work with the Early-Stage Project Manager to define and influence the project requirements and scope with the Energy Transmission Development Group; Secure engineering consulting resources when required from a list of approved suppliers by developing a scope of work, securing bids, evaluating, and awarding work through Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Group; Conduct design reviews/optimize designs, develop design requirements documents, define RFP deliverables, and manage all work to the prescribed deadlines; Coordinate with other project stakeholders to identify and develop a transmission line route, and suitable substation site, support the engineering data, and permits necessary to design and develop the project, including geotechnical and lidar data; Coordinate the engineering deliverables in support of NEETs FERC Order 1000 competitive request for proposals (RFP); Coordinates with project execution team members to validate the technical solution and incorporate construction input; seeks input from execution team SMEs as the conceptual design is developed; Prepare engineering turnover documentation and holds meeting to transfer project materials and knowledge to the execution team; continue to support the execution team during the transition period Why apply Gain experience with one of the worlds best energy companies; Work with a great team of professionals and learn the newest technologies and approaches; Enjoy our Clients wonderful campus with top-notch facilities for work and recreation; Benefit from multiple projects extensions; Receive support and advice from Vitaver consultants who are already working at our Clients site; Get extra cash by participating in Vitaver Successful Completion Bonus Program; Always get paid in full and on time.
