The successful candidate will haveexperience in engineering or support roles with hands-on knowledge of dataplatforms and services, preferably in an AWS environment and Ability to workoff hours when needed to support application. Required Skills: 7 years of experience Operations 5 years SQL Server experience 5 years of Python experience 4 years of AWS Cloud technology experience 2 years Spark experience 5 years Glue experience Experience with ELT/ETL Experience with relationship databases Experience with message queuing, stream processing andhighly scalable big data data stores Experience building or maintaining large scale highlyavailable data warehouse/data lake Experience with relationship databases Experience working in an Agile environment followingSDLC Good to have skills: Educate teams on the implementation of bestpractices and low maintenance-based initiatives, providing associated trainingas required Quick learner and should be eager to adapt new methods.Should be good in documentation. Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with theability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity Key responsibilities: Monitor automated system alerts, log files,and set up monitoring tool, Alerts, outputs to ensure the continuous and smoothrunning of data. Collaborate with business owners tounderstand and diagnose the issue Strong communication skills, has theability to understand priority and to communicate the priority, resolution andstatus to the affected teams Manage and prioritize backlog of incidents.Assist in ensuring that Runbook documentation is always up to date. Troubleshoot incidents, identify rootcause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures Perform root cause analysis on issues thatlead to the implementation of processes to prevent repetitive problems. Makerecommendations to engineering team to increase platform resiliency. Optimize through automation.
