Long Term Contract
Strong communication skills with client facing and team leading role experience in previous role. Working experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro module and expertise in different contracts, license models, Product use rights of various publishers (e.g. Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, etc.).
Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and other modules. Experience in onboarding Software publishers within SAM Pro. Establishing and maintaining software license compliance and licensing life-cycle management for all software from purchase, receipt, installation, upgrade, removal, reallocation, and retirement.
Managing software models, entitlements, and license metrics within SAM Pro. Ability to research software products, determine product-licensing implications and vulnerabilities, and interpret and process vendor software license agreements. Performing license reconciliation to ensure compliance with vendor contracts and agreements. Assessing and benchmarking the current process against best practices as required. Suggesting & implementing technical measures to save on license cost based on usage, with experience in managing and analyzing new project requirements. Tracking software license usage and identifying potential overspending or compliance issues. Analyzing software usage data to identify optimization opportunities and cost reduction strategies. Developing and customizing reports and dashboards to monitor software usage, compliance status, and cost savings. Creating and managing workflows for software procurement, deployment, and retirement. Communicating effectively with stakeholders regarding SAM Pro processes, policies, and procedures. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications: Graduate in a technology related discipline with a mix of technical and management background preferred. 10-15 years of work experience in Software Asset Management. ServiceNow CSA certified. ServiceNow CIS - SAM certification preferred. SAM licensing certification preferred for top priority publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, Salesforce, etc.
