This initiative, spanning all client-facing business units and corporate functions, will drive innovation and strategic change through technology, data science, and deep analytics. The team partners with key business leaders and industry experts to build transformational technology to drive revenue, maximize efficiency, and optimize the allocation of resources. The CRM & Analytics team is at the forefront of Jefferies cloud initiative, leveraging best-in-class cloud-based technologies to replace legacy on-premises solutions to provide intelligent trend insights, actionable opportunities, decision support, and transparency into all client and business-related activities. Position Overview: The Data Developer role is responsible for supporting Business Intelligence and Reporting initiatives. Main responsibilities are creating data structures for reporting systems and developing data exchanges and integrations between various platforms. Important aspect of this role is optimizing existing and new data processes. Required Qualifications: Very strong expertise in ETL concepts and source to target data mapping + transformation rules Very strong experience in developing real-time API based data ingestion and integration solutions using leading iPaaS offerings Expertise with development of scheduled batch processes for data integration using leading ETL tools Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts & experience of working in MDM (master data management) / EDL (enterprise data lake) projects Very strong knowledge of SQL Extensive hands-on experience on MS SQL Server platform Deep understanding of RDBMS concepts Hands on experience developing stored procedures, functions, and scripts Expertise in database/query performance optimization (Indexing, query tuning, troubleshooting performance problems) Exposure to data modeling/database design Curious, relentless with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
