From: Sonali, KPG99 [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: QA Engineer Visa: No h1b Duration: 5 months Location: 53 State Street Boston, MA (Locals only) (Hybrid 2 days onsite in a week) The primary objective of the IS&T COE (Center of Excellence) Test Lead is to be the thought leader in the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of a reusable repository of tools, templates, processes, best practices, and methodologies to manage the planning, estimation, and execution of Testing activities across IS&T. This position must be able to work closely with all cross-functional teams including internal and external resources as well as nearshore and offshore teams. While this role will work primarily in an advisory capacity there will be those circumstances in which the candidate will have to be hands-on. PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Provide overall thought leadership for Testing across IS&T Provide leadership ability across various categories of testing including but not limited to User Acceptance Testing, Stress/Load Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, etc. Be able to apply the knowledge base in either a Waterfall or Agile approach Produce such artifacts/collateral as test plans/strategy, use cases, test scripts, testing metrics, etc. Integration of testing approaches into the PMLC/SDLC Maintain the repositories of all Testing KnowledgeBase(s) Maintain a working knowledge of all prescribed testing tools for VNA as well stay abreast of emerging testing toolsets and capabilities in the marketplace. Additionally, grow the usage of testing tools throughout the company to add efficiencies and deliver higher quality solutions Ability to recognize a tools end-of-life and recommend upgrades Work with cross-functional teams in an advisory role, hands-on when appropriate Work with stakeholders to manage and set their expectations and develop alternative solutions, especially where conflicting resource requirements exist. Excellent Communications skills required QUALIFICATIONS Education / Experience / Background BS, Computer Science, Management or Equivalent degree or experience 7+ years testing experience in a structured environment utilizing predefined methodologies and/or frameworks as well as automated testing tools Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Excellent organizational, team collaboration skills, written and verbal communication skills, facilitation, collaboration, and presentation skills. Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment. Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability. Ability to work as part of a team and/or autonomously.
