Opportunity Overview Responsibility Summary/Job Description Unlock key user insights and translate them into user objectives using prototyping and testing Evangelize "Design excellence" within the organization, Sharing a deep appreciation for client, branch and associate needs Comfort designing in low, medium, and high-fidelity think strategically and able to design high fidelity product and service prototypes Effectively communicate in verbal and written venues to present strategic opportunities, aligned to firm strategy/goals/objectives, define business cases, and develop strategic roadmaps that clearly articulate the journey toward an ideal end-user experience and business outcomes. Partner with subject matter experts, business owners, and those skilled in multiple business process disciplines (e.g., Agile, Design Thinking, Lean Six Sigma, project management, product management, research) to define user and business capabilities needed to deliver new/improved experiences. Partner with Strategic Consultants to guide teams through problem definition (e.g., leveraging business canvases) and the capabilities or disciplines needed to solve problems. Partner with Insights Network and Firm Strategy to understand relevant trends and business opportunities inside and outside the industry, and implications to firm efforts. Develop user experiences and/or processes that have firm-wide benefits and impact The Right Candidate will Confidently present design concepts, clearly articulate ideas, and participate in brainstorming sessions with leaders, developers, and stakeholders Participate in regular critique sessions with other designers Stay current with design trends and best practices, and share your knowledge with others Have a high attention to detail and solve a range of design challenges, with guidance Be comfortable working with ambiguity, when requirements are still in flux Build relationships with key stakeholders and design peers Respond well to direction, embrace feedback and change Project Details The Enterprise Design Center of Expertise will lead the transformation of building human-centered capabilities that focus on delivering value to client, branch team and associate experience. The Senior Concept Designer leads design during the front-end of the design process for a wide spectrum of products and services, utilizing a mastery of the design process to create vision prototypes rooted in user understanding, technological feasibility and business viability. You are passionate about delivering phenomenal user-centric experiences, showing proven success in ownership, bias for action, and thinking big as a designer, but also outside traditional design thinking. You're a versatile designer who loves being part of dynamic, multidisciplinary teams of researchers, analysts, strategists, business and technology SMEs to tackle a wide range of business and user challenges. Position Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in design (UX, ID, etc) or related work experience 3 to 5 years of ( UX, ID, etc) design experience applying user experience principles to visual and interaction design 2+ years of Design Thinking experience to lead large groups of collaborators through the design process preferred Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and build relationships with leadership at all levels of the organization Expert in visual design, with solid understanding of typography, layout, and color theory Expert with rapid prototyping tools (i.e. InVision, Sketch, Figma) Expert in Adobe Creative Suite A portfolio of projects highlighting the design process for both web-based and mobile applications is essential to be considered for this role Please put a link to the portfolio at the top of the resume.
