Role: Ab-initio Admin Location: Irving, TX ( Initial Remote then Hybrid Model 2 Days Onsite ) Duration: Fulltime /Contract Position Job Description:- Strong knowledge administration for Ab Initio products like Co>Operating System, EME, Express>IT, Control>Center, Metadata>Hub and Authorization>Gateway among other Ab Initio products. Experience with scripting (BASH or Korn ) in Linux/Unix systems. Knowledge of EME code promotion process including branching. CI/CD knowledge using Jenkins is a plus. Strong experience with installation/configuration/upgrades of Ab Initio Co>Operating system and other Ab Initio web products. Experience in Ab Initio migration projects and basic understanding of scheduling concepts. Knowledge of Autosys is a good to have. Knowledge of Multi-File System (MFS) design and configuration. Work with application developers and business areas to design, configure, deploy and maintain custom ETL Infrastructure to support project initiatives. SRE experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact with the various teams. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in distributed systems development using Ab Initio software. 2 years relevant Ab Initio Administration experience in managing & supporting Ab Initio ETL infrastructure environments, within any operating systems. Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related technical field. 6+ years application development experience in all stages of SDLC. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong scripting skills, with experience encapsulating Ab Initio code for execution via automated schedulers. Working knowledge of relational database management systems and experience writing SQL.
